Hey - I ended up finding a cheap JDM e8 Ecu that I'm going to put into my 6. I've been trying to match up the pins and everything seems to be ok except for the diagnostic pins from the 6. The 6 has 3 "Diagnostic" pins:

1. 56 - Dignostics (1)
2. 62 - Diagnostics (7)
3. 79 - Diagnostics

The e8 ECU only has:

1. 100 - Diagnostics
2. 85 - OBDII

What do I plug in where? I'm confused as to what I need to do. Any info helps

That's for the USDM - JDM is different.

I'm pretty sure I figured it out though

 

did you get it already?

100 is the reflashing pin going to the OBD 1 port pin 26





85 is the diagnostic pin going to the OBD2 port pin 7

Thanks for the pics - that helps a lot. Once I get the ECU installed I'll put together a how-to and pinout for future reference
