Hi this isn't a new cable and I have used it many times on the same car to flash the ecu etc but today I went to plug the cable into my laptop and it stalled the car. If I unplug it from my pc it start fine and you can hear the cars ignition relays click on. I have narrowed it down to just the white connector with the single wire. If I leave it unplugged I can log and view just fine in evoscan plug it back in and the car appears to loose ignition.
Any ideas?

 

There must be a short on the reference circuit or a data circuit that is pulling it low or high.
