Any Interest in More Custom Pills?

Some of my friends want some custom pills and I have also got PMs from people who want pills.

I want to see if there is any interest in another round of pills. This time, however, I will only produce two sizes, #65 and #63. I believe that these two sizes are ideal for running on pump gas and 100 octane gas up to 24-25 psi boost. These two sizes were the first to sell-out last time.

I have been using the #65 pill with great results so far. This is on 91 octane gas.

As you can see in the screen shot above, I am able to hold boost @ 21-22 psi all the way to redline and close to 20 by cut off. There also room for a bit more with the WGDC not being maxed out. The load that I am hitting is also very close to the target load with BCLO set @ 100.

Bryan @ GST has also produced excellent resluts with a #63 pill. I am not sure about the pill size, but I am sure he will correct me if I am wrong.

I am thinking about a batch of 15-20 pills. The number of 65 vs. 63 will depend on the demand from the people in this forum. I am not sure about the price this time around, but it will depend on the demand. The more demand the cheaper the pills. But a traget price is betweem $10-12.

So if you are interested, Please add your name to this list and repost it. Please make sure that you are committed to buy these pills.

1. nj1266, 3 #65 pills

I am running the #63 pill and with all max settings, and zero correction it was spiking 28psi taper to 20 at redline. (4th gear pull) Just to give an idea of how much headroom.

Thanks Nuked. By the way Nuked, could you post a link to you dyno chart so people can see how good those pills (as well as tuning) are in producing power?

sure thing...

greenish yellow line is boost on the chart.

Which one would you recommend for stock turbo, 93 octane and around 22-23 lbs of desired boost?

duplicate post

I would recommend a #65 pill. This way you will not max out your WGDC and have more room for higher boost in case you want to run on 100 octane.

Do you want me to add your name to the list?

So is #65 pill a smaller orifice than a #63 or the other way around?

I'm definitely in for one or the other, just not sure which one would be best yet. Any recommendations "nj1266"? My car is a Evo IX with TBE, K/N drop-in, Jestr Flash (adjusted by me).

I'm not necessarily interested in running that much more boost, but I'd like to get rid of some of the stock taper. I think 22-23psi tapering to 20psi by redline would be nice.

Would it be worth getting both the #65 and #63 pill?

What are the advantages running a #65 or #63 as opposed to a #57 in your original boost pill thread?

You can get either. According to Bryan @ GST (Razorlab), the #63 pill makes the boost curve a bit smoother than the #65 pill. The #65 pill has more room for upward adjustment for using race gas should you desire.

The #65 pill has a smaller orifice than the #63. I use the #65 pill and so does WORKS. Bryan uses the #63 pill. Both of them are good.

In my original thread I made #58 to #65 pills. The big advantage in number 65 and 63 pills over #58 is the ability to add more boost since you are not maxing out the WGDC tables. In the screen shot above I was able to eliminate taper from peak to redline with the #65 pill.

Ah, thanks for the info. {thumbup}

Now are you using #65 to both turbo and bcs or #65 to turbo and #63 bcs?
