560's maxed out at 14 psi ?

as above, they maxed out 99% @14 psi in 6-7K rpm region, with 11.5 afr
car is 2.3 with S2 cams and 10.5 turbo, pump gas, hardwired wallbro 255

do you guys find it normal ? or should I look for some leaks ? there were no major leaks according to my las check, only from bov

SOLVED

replaced old walbro with new one along with new rubber hose and clamps. dunno which one was faulty but all is good now {thumbup}

IDC is ~70% to the redline at 10.5 afr :updown:

youre not "maxed" yet at 100%. i believe 110% is around where injectors are at their limit

I knew that 90-95% is safe limit, to leave a bit headroom also

anyway, is it normal ?

Fuel pump install or your boost gauge is off.

^^
don't quite understand your post. you mean I need new walbro ?

JohnBradley Jul 10, 2012 02:06 PM

Did you use the install kit with the 255? Did you put the O ring and collar back on top of the fuel pump when you reinstalled it into the housing? I am saying the fuel pump install is allowing fuel pressure to bleed off and thats why its maxed out.

don't know to be honest. it was installed by previous owner

can it also be something related with bad fpr ?

stunt2 Jul 11, 2012 03:10 AM

forgot to mention, car hit 265 load at that 14 psi. does't it tell anything about increased airflow and increased IDC ?

evo4 have a different set up , no plastic tank units or 0 rings in these babies :lol:

stunt2 Jul 12, 2012 01:15 PM

^^

so is it wothless to dig into the fuel tank ? considering that it requires dropping the tank to acces pump on IV's {thumbdwn}

todd6027 Jul 12, 2012 01:17 PM

it would be very unusual for anything to be wrong in there

EVO'D8 Jul 12, 2012 04:44 PM

hopefully your boost gauge is off

stunt2 Jul 21, 2012 10:58 AM

leak tested today and have leak from bov, but not such critycal to be the cause of such big load

Dynotech Tuning Jul 22, 2012 09:29 AM

Have you messed with the MAF scaling? That will alter your load levels.
