thanks for the response malibu, i am trying to get a data log saved. ECUflash does its job but when you save the file of your stock rom. there is and error. how do you get mitsulogger to read and save a file so that ECUflash can read it when i reopen the file.I don't have Evoscan, i am already using mitsulogger i just need to save data and read it

Alright, stop confusing your ECU image or ROM with a log file. ECU flash deals with files with the extension of .hex. These are images of your ECU that are read, written and edited within ECU Flash. Mitsulogger logs requested engine parameters and are saved as .csv files. These 2 files are completely different.

Evoscan and Mitsulogger are logging applications... they record data while your running your car to a log file (.csv, .txt) that you can later analyze in the application of your choice - ie: Data Log Lab, Excel, Logworks etc.
ECUFlash is a ROM editor, as well as it can read and write to your cars ECU. This is what you use to make changes to your ECU, and it Edits rom files (.HEX .BIN .ROM)
good luck!
