Periphery Bits CEL Fix - on ECUTek - how to??

Ok so i have an ECUTek'd ECU.

I can read the ECU using the ActiveMatrix utility & ECUFlash.

The latest version of ECUFlash, has the periphery bits table if you have the right XML/definitions,

I want to DISABLE my CEL test for the exhaust obviously...and I know I can do that using that table.

Question - what are the exact steps for me to re-image my ECU without losing any tune information but while enabling the periphery bits table and therefore being able to disable the P0300x or whatever exact #s those series of CEL codes are!

ECUTek i just need to bypass the lock using that ActiveMatrix(MalibuJack?) unlocker, once thats done easy enough you just ECUFlash.

But im wondering, which .XML file do I use for my ROM, being an 06 ADM IX and also is there the potential to stuff the ROM /map up when reflashing if I havent used the right XML file? how do I find the exact XML file I need?
also because it's ECUTek, will I lose any 'custom' table value data that ECUTek might have discovered and tuned?

I essentially dont want to modify Anything at all in the ECU except the periphery bits table values to turn off my O2/exhaust/ CEL

Trav

the def file only lets you see whats in the rom , you need the rom id to get correct def file ,to get the rom id you have to download the rom and try open it ,,ecuflash wont affect anything with the other method .

Contact ecutek. That is unsupported proprietary software that people could get in trouble trying to help you out with. Unfortunately its their baby and its up to them to help you out.
