EcuFlash and Windows 7?

My friend and I just installed windows 7 on my laptop and before I even think about pulling maps out of my car or any friends car, will I have any problems running this with Ecuflash? Ive heard Vista having a lot of problems running EcuFlash so i just wanna take some precautions.

only problem I have found with windows 7 is that if you wish to modify the xml definition files these are protected and permissions and I tend to copy the file to desktop, edit then replce in the directory in the "program files" folder.
Another option would be to move the definitions folder out of the program files area to another folder but I prefer the copy edit replace option personally.

idk, when my friend installed it on my comp i noticed it "looked" like vista in a way and i got worried for a bit and didn't wanna take a risk like that on a friends car or something. Idk I usually like to take precautions like that lol. But thanks again
