Okay so I tried doing the first ecuflash read on a 2014 Mitsubishi Ralliart. Cable was brand new tactrix 2.0, tablet was brand new as well running windows 10. Ecuflash and evoscan was loaded on the tablet with no problems.

So I connected the tablet to the tactrix cable which was connected to the obd port. Tried to do a read but Ecuflash says definition files were missing. After I got that message I turned ignition to off position then disconnected cable. I tried to start car to make sure it would still start. Car started fine, but now I have a service engine soon light that won't go off. I used evoscan and tried to read the code. Evoscan detected no codes. So I hit the clear dtc codes button anyways and says codes cleared. Then I started the car again and service engine soon is still on.

Any ideas? Btw, never had this problem using a 1.3u cable on an evo ix.

 

Everytime i flash my car it does this. i have to use my handheld to delete this code.
