My best guess it's something to do with your MAF adapter, is it plugged in completely, nice and tight?

I can't believe how much money Injen makes. Why do people continually buy this expensive intake over and over and over instead of mods that cost less and give more power? This is like the 4th "I installed an Injen and now my car is screwed up" thread this week.

The Injen doesn't cause codes, so make sure the MAF is plugged in like Dan said. If it is plugged in, then go read the code at Autozone and tell us what it says.

It must be their marketing, who knows. No matter how many times you tell them they still ruin their car.

All that stuff will make your car run very poorly without a tune, so be sure to get one very soon.

Why in the world did you upgrade the fuel rail???? Perrin doesn't even advertise here or participate yet somehow they sucker people into buying so much of their stuff. Is there some magazine or advertisement somewhere that all these noobs see for Perrin? I gotta know, because I have seen no reason to buy anything from them and don't know why so many people do...

Perrin actually does advertise here, they don't post and participate like some of our other wonderful vendors, but they do have a banner that runs up top.

and from talking to other "shops", the fuel rail is wisely chosen upgrade as the stock VIIIs are like pin holes (not quite sure of the IX's though). while its not a top of the list, it is needed as hp grows. it has been suggested ,by some, that the tiny stock fuel rail could be contributing to the high number of blown motors. at least those who have seen lean conditions in cylinder # 4.

its because people like intakes and injen is one of the few with a carb sticker at least thats an issue here in cali.

anyways did you reset the ecu when you installed? did you remember to plug the maf back in? if you did make sure you tightened all the pipes.
