Problem with Ecuflash

I just received my Openport 2.0 cable the other day and now I have spent 2 days trying to flash a 06 Evo 9. I am using Ecuflash version 1.41 and Evoscan version 2.6 beta. I can get the evoscan logger to work but ecuflash won't do anything with the 2.0 cable but I borrowed a 1.3 cable and I can get it to start to read but then it says there is a checksum error and to check the log file. The log file says: chkDisplayTorque_CheckedChanged, Data series with name "Torque" was not found in the series collection.

It also says the same thing about power. I have reinstalled the program a few times and reinstalled the drivders a few times and still nothing. I swapped ecus from another car and still nothing. The 1.3 cable worked on my buddies Evo 8 using evoscan but still wouldn't work with ecuflash. I don't know what to do. I need to get this car running. I tried using the ecuunlocker program and still nothing.

Thanks,

I found this.....try it...

"
there're xml definitions for the ecuflash supported cars reside in a directory, usually at:
c:\program files\openecu\ecuflash\rommetadata

Run ecuflash, open File\Options, select Directories\Metadata Directory and set it to the full path to the metadata directory mentioned above.

This will help EcuFlash correctly finding its metadata directory. Usually only "metadata" set in that box and it works because of the executable program relative path is correct but it may not in some cases.

Found this too...

"It could be battery voltage. If it's too low, you won't be able to read/write. "

You can register at Aktivematrix.com and get the ECU Unlocker program.

Turn it on, then open EcuFlash. It should allow you to get into the ECU

So I finally was able to read the ecu in this 9. I had to reload ecuflash and use a older version. I used v1.29a. I cannot get it to work with the new version no matter what. I cannot get my new 2.0 cable to work either. I used a 1.3 cable. If some one could help me figure out what is going on that would be great. I have got some of the errors here.
