Also, it appears the XML differs from the "Official 2byte thread" for the MUT table too. Level 2 vs Level 1.... Elements 32 vs Elements 16??
Why would all these things be different?

Ok so i gave read multiple threads and cannot figure this out
I got it to idle and run perfect, no boost at all. When i boost my afrs are lean around 16.5
And it seems like most of the instructions are backwards my ve tables are over 100% just to get it running right and getting the ltft trim to 1.17%
How do i pursue achieving normal afrs for when I was on Maf? Something im missing

Help
I am new to the tuning scene and have just decided to make the switch to speed density. I finally got my car in shape to make the switch, read tons of posts about how to make the switch, transferred all of my maps over to the 3d speed density tephra v7. The problem is that when I flash the speed density maps on the car it will start initially and run fine just like it was running before the new maps were loaded on except a little lean. Well no problem, I just have to adjust the speed density map for idle to richen it up. Well, as soon as I turn it off and flash the updated map on, the car will not start up at all. Even when the speed density values are changed back to what the car was initially flashed with, it just fails to start. It will crank over like crazy but not fire up! As soon as I convert back to MAF the car will start back up like nothing even happened. I have tried and failed to find anyone with similar problems and it is nagging at me how it could initially start up and then fail to after shutting the car off. I have checked all of my hex addresses and made sure ecuflash was set to the Omni4bar that I have installed in the car and still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Like I said I am all new to this so if there is something stupid I am doing wrong try not to tear me apart.

Just curious on where most people's VE tables are sitting. Talking 2.3L engines with stock compression. I'm getting really lean conditions setting stationary at around 2000-3000. The car has been tuned for great HP but now trying to get some drivability out of my beast!
This is where I'm setting now (from tuner):
SD RPM VE (500-8000RPM)
RPM VE (%)
500 73
1000 80
1250 87

Just asking...I don't really know that things. My evo 9 JDM has this stock 2 bar map sensor and I asked Tom from tscompusa if I need to upgrade to go SD and he said "no" I don't need to upgrade. And I am sure he is going to tune it more than 14,5 psi
Am I missing something?

2 bar = 29psi So why can't boost more than 14.5psi?

But is it true what scheides says??

Yes it's true and boosting maximum 14,5psi in an evo is not a great idea. You need at least a 3bar map sensor (good up to 29psi) but I would suggest a 4bar sensor (up to 43psi) because it's the same price
You can trust scheides. Look who wrote the very first post of this thread.
