This problem is SOOO common when adding cams. Maybe we should make a sticky on fixing this issue. It gets brought up a lot.

ISCV up usually fixes the issue. May have to raise the desired idle rpm with AC on as well. Still having issues, timing adjustments in the AC on idle rpm/load region could be necessary.

Currently on the ISCV AC on table at 77C and 82C I have 85. My friend sugested to try upping those values to 90 I'll try tonight and see since it another 100F+ day here in TX for the umteenth day in a row!

let me know if that fixes it .i doubt it will. theres something else that needs attention. this issue has something to do with deceleration. because you mess your idle all day and get it as high as you want but when the car is coming to a stop that needle will still drop below 500 rpm. and sometimes doesnt pick itself up in time. theres more too it and i wish i knew what it was

okay I have made the iscv values to 93 and raised the ac idle to 1100 and it works most of the time however not all occasionally it stalls while idle???....Update I just found that my EGR hose had came off just finished zip tying it hopefully problem fixed.

Just raise idle with A/C on to 1,100 or 1,200 rpm. Works great in Arizona.

What kinda timing are you guys running in your HIGH octane ignition maps? From what I have read it should look something like this on all 3 ignition maps for HIGH octane -

What cams are you running Jim? I already have A/C idle set to 1100. It has something to do with the idle not picking itself up fast enough.like I said it doesn't happen all the time but even when its at idle at 1100 occasionally it will just stall???

Oh, and make sure that MIVEC isn't affecting the idle timing areas.
