Whats happening here??

Anybody any idea whats going on with the 2byte load in my logs(collumn L) i've noticed this in a couple of my logs and in each one it only last for a split second. The boost is only 23psi so my load never exceeds 260.

Two byte load comes in two packets what your seeing is the top bits being set when the load was high then load dropping to less than that size for the next bit. So you have one packet with high bits at a higher load and one with less than that load. Sometimes this happens in reverse so you get a load drop out .

2Byte load is notorious for this switch to 1Byte logging if this bugs you.

Thanks for the quick reply.

so in simple terms its "quirk" with the way the 2byte load works rather than a problem with my car such as a boost leak?

it if thats the case it doesn't really bug me & i can work around it.
