I have it on a JDM E9 MR, I've been using rom 88570008 v5.1 as it seemed the best version for a JDM ECU. I encountered such off-boost stutter since I started tuning the car. I tried various things attempting to solve it like adjusting VE table & injector scaling, I even played with closed/open loop tables, making open loop kick in earlier but without much success.
I never used such patches, I wasn't even aware that they exist until I read this post!
I'd really appreciate any help

I had it on 9653 2d and 3d SD using various combinations of fixes. But not on my current 9417 3d SD. Id have to check the laptop to see which fix Im currently using, but Im pretty sure Im doing what has been recommended in the 3D SD roadspike thread.

The only time I see it is on evo 8 stroker applications using SD, and it is pretty much every single one. Throwing fuel at it does not help and I have tried all of the patches to no avail. Only 1500-2300rpm or so, otherwise all is good.

I have seen this issue in only a few cars, like it was said before it's so sporadic , i would say probably one out of every 10 do it, all Evo 8, it happens right around 2k rpm on light throttle, i have tried just about everything to try to make it go away but no luck. I tried the 3 fixes, plus or minus timing, richened it up, leaned it out, tried different injector scalings and latencies all to no avail, i would be very interested in a new fix.

Roadspike 2,0 sd. I have encountered the ipw jitter on this rom and this car (mine) before. I didn't get it at first when I started like two years ago either then it seemed to manifest in perhaps cooler weather. I don't have a good log database so the only thing I can 100% confirm is I had it.

This is my first time back on a usdm rom in over a year.

I have been on SD since March 2011 88592715. Never experienced stuttering issues until last week. I have had stutter fix option 2 enabled and options 1 & 3 disabled.

No logs of this unfortunately. I didn't have my tactrix on me at the time. The stuttering would occur at 65-70 mph with no boost, just cruising and keeping the throttle steady. The car feels like it's experiencing fuel cut and lightly jerks 2-3 times and resumes normally. Other than that, everything is running great.

the weather and humidity has been a bit cooler recently.
I will try to get some logs up, but i'm in the middle of prepping for SEMA the next couple weeks and have my hands full.

I've been tuning alot of 7's and 8's using the SD 2.0 on their roms.
Found I remove all stutter issues with fix 2 and 3 enabled, the stuttering is only very light though.

What's the best sd rom for a JDM 7?

I got it to stutter again this morning and luckily I was logging. I can't post the log at the moment because i'm at work, but I took a look at it and noticed my IPW spiked from 2.424 to 19.976 and then back down rapidly within less than a second.

I was off-boost and just slowly driving at a steady speed of 40 mph @ 2500rpm slowly climing to 3000rpm.

This time around I had all three (3) stutter options enabled hoping to eliminate this problem.

Additional details:
LTFT low:1.17
LTFT Mid:2.93

FIC 1100's scaled to 1083 and latency @ 14.06 = .936 ms

any thoughts? I'll post the log later tonight

For the JDM 7s we have 90556701 which is a patch of the V& done via the Live Map App from Ziad.

Back from the dead. I'm still having problems with this jitter problem. For me it occurs between 1250-2000 rpm, light load and steady throttle and even in neutral with steady throttle. I've tried various combinations of the SD stutter fix options to no avail. I'm running SD 88591715. I'd appreciate any help with this.

mr I was having some issues with my version of Ecuflash and SOM's. SO I haven't done much on my own.

Was there a link to your 3 fixes somewhere?

Also I'm not entirely sure my issue is the same. At this point the issue I'm having appears to be Throttle tip in related. For those of you experiencing this issue (jitter).....what are your AFR's at when it happens.

My issue is unless I give it alot of gas (from a dead stop) it goes stupid lean and sounds like a Subaru. And while in gear moving if I'm not hauling *** it does the same thing on initial throttle input (after gear shift change). Also if I'm in a slightly higher gear then I should be it does the same thing.

Its like throttle tip in/Load related it seems.

If this isn't what you all are experiencing, I'll take my woes and go elsewhere. :P

Sidenote: Where does one get 8592715. Any notes on whats different from this compared to 88591715.

Thanks guys
