not enough money right now, and i put stupid royal purple in my tranny and it is making a whiny noise. had to put something in it as i have a leak somewhere between the t-case (brand new) and the tranny. so no ring...

i seen a black evo on base here in vilseck with evom sticker on it. parked next to me in the parking lot of the tex mex place. pm me if you see this and we can hook up for a drive or something.

 

Sup guys, my Evo will be in Germany end of June/July timeframe. It would be great to meet up with some Evo peeps and do some driving. My old lady is active duty Army in Ansbach. I am a dirty contractor. Looking forward to some time on the Ring.

Are you sure you put the right Royal Purple in? I've run nothing but Royal Purple in my Evo VI, IV and even a buddies VIII with nothing but great results. It can be a little clunky when cold but no whine.

 

I dnt know but I have never heard of evo owner using royal purple.. well at least in my last car club in Hawaii.. we ran nothing but stock stuff.. mobil1 baby.. talking about like 80evos in my click.. the ones who ran royal on their 8' and 9's messed their engine up.. even one of them had a few bent valves and the yep.. it had to do something with he oil.. We just stay away from it period. But some indeed have reported good things is weird.. s i just dnt bother with the drama.. but I am trying ENEOS.. got a case coming..

The car is pretty cool.. only about 500 miles more than mine.. the dude was kind enough of letting me drive it.. So is this the car..?

 

i think i am gonna order some bg2 and some gear oil to replace the stuff i put in there. not a loud whine but it wasnt there before i put it in. i filled her up until it was leaking out of the fill hole on the tranny and the rear end. it is 80/140 or something like that. definately thinner than oem stuff. that was the best aafes carried.

 

Can anybody here around the baumholder/stuttgart/k-town/trier area lend me a stock exhaust so i can pass this stupid german inspection.. My exhaust is too loud..

 

i live in vilseck. bring a hand receipt. lol.

yeah SAUCE4U is the guy on here that bought it and on thursday we are gonna go get his stock parts and he will be the one lending me the exhaust..

BTW I drove it.. Its nice but who ever flash it.. did not increase the boost but did give him a 6K 2 step.. What's up with that.. anyways yeah man.. I wanna go to the ring so bad.. and get together with the fellow evos..

He got Al's Mail-In special.. don't know why he didn't get the increased boost though.. I have Works and that sucker is the baddest mail-in ever.. it holds boost at 22psi all the way.. no substantial drop.. I wish I could have gotten a custom tune from them... anyway, glad you got the exhaust.. L8

 

Hey X ill take you up on the exaust when i return from iraq. I was stationed in vilseck alittle over a year ago. Just before the Strikers came in i have the blue evo if anyone there is still talking about it. but on the serious note i would pay you alittle bit of cash if i can barrow it or maybe just the cat. depends if i can find a silencer for an HKS exaust.

 

i dont have a cat... just helix cat. i havent heard anyone talk about a blue evo... but yeah i am here in vilseck so just let me know i am subscribed to this thread.
