Custom dyno tuning... WHERE???

Hello

I'm planning to get a '03-'04 EVO 8 and get a complete package for it. GT35R + 2.3 AMS/BR block + cyl head + fmic and everything.

My problem is that i live in Romania and in my country there are no real software tuners. There aren't any AWD dynos too.

Any idea how i would get the car tuned? I saw that AMS car from Poland so i guess it is possible for someone to do it...

I have been asking the same question for months now with little feedback.. Check the Euro thread from me, and there are some websites they gave me... most were German sites, but they might help.. Please let me know if you find something out.. I am in need as well.. Are you getting a EuroSPEC or US Spec??? that would make a difference too with tuning.. L8R

I'm getting one from Germany so euro spec. What's the difference? I saw a featured EVO on the AMS page that was from Poland and using their stuff. I'm guessing that's the place to find anything since they have some crazy hp cars over there. Also there is a member from the UK with a GT35R. I'll let you know once i get a pm reply from him.

How's the EVO on high speeds on the autobahn btw? My 6er is very solid at the 255km/h limiter. Any scary stuff with the mitsu at high speeds?

Think i found something.

Check this out: http://www.4turbo.pl/katalog/index.p...ex&language=en

They have the AMS stuff including gt35r and they tune via the Autronics ems. You're close to Poland so maybe you can have a go

Checked out the site Ariciu.. Looks decent, but I don't know anything about Autronic.. I am more interested in AEM EMS and Power FC.. I have seen some amazing thinigs from both.. but again its about the tuner and I'm not one of them.. anyway, as for different Spec EVO's, If you wanted to go mail in flash, then Dynoflash is the way to go... but Al Friedman only does US Spec Evo's at the moment. I have talked to this guy Steffen up in Luxenburg and he is trying to get Dynoflash over here, but mainly for the local Evo community.. In fact I know that a bunch of STI owners are raving about this guy, so I'll try and get some info and post..

I'd drive to lux no problem if they have a capable dyno to do the software part. Didn't know what autronics was myself but a friend who's got a 640awhp evo's got it and told me that all EU rally cars and EU tuners use that EMS so it would be easier to find a guy if i use Autronics instead of AEM.

I think the best bet is to fly someone over to do some tuning. I know the Evo population is growing in that part of Germany so I see no problem getting someone to come help out the Armed Forces, and surrounding folk

I'm definitely in oldschoolevo... I posted earlier about getting someone here, but received little input.. I would realy like to see someone in Germany dyno and tune come on these forums and get us to come by their shops.. If not, then it seems the US folks got some business here if they are willing to come. Money is always the issue, but I know some folks who are willing to spend to get results... Anyway, my .02c

I'm pretty sure we can come up with the cutsomers. I'm not really into modding my Evo but I would get it flashed. My buddy has lots of mods on his car and needs a tune so I know he'll be in. Theres got to be atleast 6-7 of yall down there now, and if we put the word out I'm sure we can get a few of the locals. I got your back if you spearhead and do most of the research, only cause I wouldn't know what the hell I'm talking about. I'll do some looking around here and we can keep in touch.

I am talking to as many import and domestic owners as possible to see if they know of anyone who can help.. I am going to try this guy near luxenburg again. If he's out there (Steffen) then give us a holla!!! we have folks that are serious about their rides.. We need a serious tuner!!!
