Install went okay.. Had a hell of a time with the transfer case.... took about 9 hours total from beginning to end.. It is still on the lift until Wednesday of this week, but only because I wanted to finish my brakes and a few other misc. upgrades.. I should be ready for a good tune in a week.. Thanks for the inquiry, it was a good experience to say the least. I figured with all the bay fees and tool usage I saved about $300... hopefully it works out in the end...

 

dang forgot to mention i got the shop manual.. maybe that could of helped you.. anyways.. who's gonna tune it mike.. **** trying to get a hold of this guy in wiesbanden but he no ansa my calls..

 

Thats what I love to hear. I'm pretty sure I will not loose to my tranny twice if I have to do a clutch change. Did you remove that crossbeam and totally remove the transfercase? A lot of write ups say you don't need to but when I watched the shop do mine it looked 10xs easier when those parts were removed. Also did you actually get a hold of a slide hammer or did you have to "Afro-Engineer" one Did you take any pics?

 

It was a bugger doing it by the EVOTech way.. I left the crossbeam in and turned the backside up and worked my way out.. I did take out the radiator when I put it back in for the extra room.. It made a huge difference.. Again, it was a good experience and I learned quite a bit, so it was worth it monetarily and knowledge wise. Plus I got the ATS Twin CF and it had the pull style kit included, so I did some minor fabrication to the housing and clutch cylinder.. It works pretty nice.. and that how-to came straight for the ATS directions... replaced clutch line with SS as well.

As for pics... I screwed up and didn't take any during install like an idiot.. But if anyone is considering doing one soon, let me know.. I would love to document some points of interests I learned and spread the wealth to you all..

as for tune.. well the 20GLT fell thru.. It took to friggin long honestly.. I'm still very interested, but waiting for someone to post one for sale who has it in hand.. So, if you know anyone who has a 20G or big Green, hook me up please.. Plus I sent in my second Exhaust mani for porting and coating... so, basically I'm waiting for my dream turbo and then I'll be seeing importracing for a nice road tune.. skipping the dyno and hitting the ring soon after..
