Germany Evo owners
we are in the planning stages of the 3rd annual mega meet, and theres a few guys doing stuff on a regular basis. be sure to check out our facebook page as well
Steffen Thorman FTW, someone tell him Juan said hi... There are a few shops I found whie I was in Germany that I won't even mention because there his competition...lol know this though.. Steffen is a straight up guy and am glad his teamed up to better serve you guys. While in Germany serving this is your one stop shop for everything. Best rates around and great quality.. I had a great time handing him tools while listening to all the great info he provided as he did some of my work.
Work he did for me:
FP Red Upgrade
Cams
Injectors
Clutch job
2 tunes on the autobahn..lol
Corner balance and spec alignment
Custom fabrication, welding
Best of luck to him and his team.. I was just lurking in this thread and I saw him mentioned.. Think I was one of the first us spec IXs he touched..lol he did learn from my car.. Remember him saying "hmmm" that's different..lol

patrick, trying to get ahold of you or steffen. Need to get my block bored from 85mm to 86mm. and talk about some other things. Hit me up with a PM or call me, 0160-917-89207
trust me, you got it backwards man. lol, a lot more pride goes into your car when you can say you did it all yourself.
I don't see anything wrong with calling someone for advise. afterall, steffen will make money from doing the block boring, it's not like he's not going to make any money at all. I thought we were all here on an open forum to help each other.
I do most of the work on my car myself and I am usually the first person to offer up help to others. I also use this little thing that is lacking in most people called "common sense." If I am tackling something new or big, I will read up on it and then decide if I will attempt it. if I am worried, I get ahold of Steffen and Patrick and learn from them. I understand pride, and I do feel good when I fix up the car by myself; however, I also know where my heart is located but I will never try to install a pacemaker...
I dont have the time, nor the patience to do my own work anymore...I'll gladly throw my money into the economy to get it done right.
My hat goes off to those that do, good on ya - it's also a good idea to know your limits as well. I'm sure we've all been there. Good luck, Brad...I'm sure you'll work it out.
