My evo is back from the dead guys. After a oil pump failure its back and meaner then ever.

 

Quick question anyone with an evo 8 or 9 not using their cat? If so would it be possible foe me to use it for inspection?

 

mine didnt have a cat and still passed, you just wont get the green sticker that allows you to go anywhere in germany. there are some areas in german towns that you are not allowed to drive in if you dont have a green sticker. which is pretty stupid, because there are loads of german cars without cats that have a green sticker. germans didnt start using cats until the late 90's for crying out loud

 

No I need it to tone down the exhaust note cause with my cams and tune its WAY too loud. I cant pass a DB test with it but as long as I dont pop over 100 DB they over look that im 5 db over. Ive been popped at well over 110 by the Polizei in the town I love in.

 

wtf?! the polizei? in all my six years there the polizei have never bothered me about my exhaust. what town do you live in?

 

Weiden. I get hammered hard out here but I really cant discribe how loud my car is except the fact is I cant hear anything on the inside except motor and exhaust and an open dump from my wastegate
