Germany Evo owners
after pulling the motor, transmission, diff, and the whole rack and pinion out, its been an adventure. glad I did because I found that my stock manifold has a nice crack in the middle of it. just waiting on the new parts to arrive and I will be putting it all back in. I can not wait to get to the states to pull it all out again and have the machine shop work on it and get it stroked and ready for the E-85.
Hockenheim is a quick track with lots of fun turns to powerslide on. It is hard on the brakes so use compression braking and have good fluid or they will boil over after about 6 laps. I had a blast on it.
Bring your own helmet and they have race gas at the gas station right outside the track so get the crappy gas out for that.

I found a machine shop in Dettenhausen that will be doing the block work on mine. They build WRC cars so they should have the necessary tools to get the machine work done. Prices are a little high but more reasonable than shipping to the states and back.
