Amplifiers for CT9A

As our cars were built for high performance and adding a slew of weight doesn't exactly mesh with that concept, I thought it might be nice to start a list of quality amplifiers that fit in the glovebox or under a seat. Please only post recommendations with confirmed fit:

Under seat:

Zapco Ref200 (2chan)
Zapco Ref500 (mono)
Arc Audio 4050 (4chan)
US Acoustics USA4050 (4chan)
US Acoustics USA2100 (2chan)
Xtant M202M (2chan)
Xtant 102M (mono)
JL HD600 (4chan)
JL 500/1
JL 300/4
JL 300/2

Glovebox:

Arc Audio Mini (2chan)
US Acoustics USA2030, USA2050

The US Acoustics amps are Zed-build ca. 1996 vintage. The Xtant amps are about the same age. As a side note, many older amps are superior to the bulk of today's offerings. This includes other Zed-built amplifiers from Alphasonic, ESX, Planet Audio, etc, (blue) Soundstream Ref and Rubicon, Nakamichi (Zed and Japan), older Japan-built Alpines, US-built Eclipses, and a few thing I'm forgetting. As a rule of thumb, if the amp was built in the USA it has promise. This works for almost all audio gear.

^^ I don't know about that. Just got a new Zed Leviathan and all I can say is WOW! Build quality and sound quality are top notch. But that's off topic. I previously used a JL 500/1 and 300/2 that fit under the seats. You could add those to the list as well as the 300/4 that is the same size.

Yeah, they'll definitely fit.

I'm not sure on quality, but the Alpine PDX4.100 would definitely fit.

Yea, with the PDXs quality is an issue. There's a new series out that promises to be better.
