556 HP / 464 TQ / 2.0L / 35R / E-85 / 1200cc / 2 FP's

Well the car is done being tuned on E-85 and now we just have to get back to the track to see how she does.

At this hp level i'm sure the car will go bottom 10's at about 136-139 mph.

We are making as much HP on E-85 as we did on 118 leaded race gas w/ 1000's and 1 pump.

When we get another free day we'll put a race gas tune on her to see if we can reach closer to 600 HP which should be plenty to go into the 9's as is.

Here's what Sean my tuner had to say in regards to the specifics of the tune:

Dyno pulls are done in 4th gear

556Hp and 464TQ are the final numbers of the night.

Edit: Sorry the printer was running out of ink and our fax/scanner is broken.

We had to make boost steadily drop in order to keep IDC's below 85%. Since power was dropping I l lowered the revlimiter from 8800 to 8200RPM. Peak boost is 34psi and tapers to 27 by 8200RPM.
Once we cleared 91% duty cycle the injectors would go static. I kept playing with the fuel to make sure there was @ least a 5% margin of error. I used the AEM's wideband instead of the dyno's. The AFR is 11.8 @ peak TQ and lean out to 12 by 8200RPM.

Honestly we don't really care too much about the peak #'s.

Sean prefers to use 4th gear to allow more resolution to view the logged info

The car runs Wiseco / Manley parts in the shortblock.

If you saw he was in Cali, why didn't you see it was (SF Bay area)? I would like to believe that would be San Francisco Bay...

Thanks again.

I'm actually in the suburbs of SF about 30mins south-east of SF.

We have 1 station that just opened up in Hayward so that's where we get it aside from going to Concord (45mins away).

I was about to run 1600's but didn't want to have to buy the aem inj. driver and i'm really not trying to make all the hp i can as i know there is still power to be had w/ a fully built head but the car already has too much power and not enough safety equip to make passes at our tracks.

I'm still debating what to do over winter:

- 5 point cage for a shot at a 9 sec pass on race gas and then de-tune it to run 10.0's @ 135

and/or

- swap to a smaller turbo (red) to keep the car in the 10.0 range @ 135

What would you guys do?
