I agree with you 100%.

At this stage, we are looking to add another 100-150awhp with some minor changes to the lay-out. It seems pretty feasable based on all of the factors...

a- junk the small hks 272's in favor of some real bumpsticks

b- turbo has already been crossed over to the larger wheel--- Peak boost was 43psi before and we will be looking to go closer to 45-47psi next time around.

c- q16 next time vs c16--- That should be good for a few extra ponies.

d- a little bit more aggressive on the 'conservative' tune so far... there's so much left in her-it's not even funny!!!

Another solid 100hp and solid 100ft lbs tq should almost guarantee deep 8's. The rest is up to the driver.

Its only making 500whp at 6000rpm then it noses over...at about 8k or so.

I'm no tuner...but that does not look ideal.

HKS272s are small these days...and thanks Michael You know me I can get where I dont speak english. The awesome stuff is when JR and I start talking tech...I get all sorts of ideas.

Going back to the project at hand, my calculator is showing that the 2700lb/149mphwould use 697whp to run 149. 8.90ish @ 156 is 800 even. You gonna run the cams I am thinking about?

I definately regard your opinions very highly John. What cams would you go with for this stroker application?

Recently the car held over 750awhp from 6500-8500 rpm. According to the gearbox ratio of a standard evo 5 speed, that leaves plenty uf 'power under the curve'... I'd like for the new cams to pick up a minimum of 50-65whp in this range.

What engine are you running? The cam sensor is different and the oil dipstick is in the front of the motor?
