Brad Brooks Tuning Experiences?
I searched around a bit, but couldn't find much on Brad Brooks Tuning. www.brookstuned.com
A friend of mine is heading there soon to get his fully-built 1G tuned with his new 6262 setup, and based on some prior tuning and one of his buddies getting both of his EVOs tuned there, Brooks seems like a real good tuner.
I'm curious if anyone has had any experience with Brooks?

There is a few video's on youtube of him tuning a 1G to over 1000whp and that was back in 01 or 02. Also if you watch peoples cars on the dyno and they dont buck and act stupid during partial throttle and decceleration then usually they have a good comprehension of what they are doing and brads cars are always smooth as butter.
I've known Brad for a few years now. Talk to him a couple times a week. He is a good guy and definately knows what he is doing. If I didn't tune myself Brad would be one of the very few people I would want tuning my personal cars
Brad would get my vote for AEM tuning (regardless of car model) over anyone else in the industry. There's less than a handful of guys I'd trust out there.
It speaks VOLUMES about your ability as a tuner when you have tons of big power (800whp+++) cars that cover a variety of spectrums. From Toyota's to Honda's to Mitsubishi's.
Also, when you tune AEMs, Haltechs, DSMlink, different flashing programs, you really learn the way EFI works inside and out and what cars like and don't like.
Back a few years ago, my car would not run as nice as I thought it should with the AEM. The idle sucked, the driveability sucked, and it would buck at part throttle. The previous tuner who had the car said it must be the car...some sort of mechanical trouble.
I didn't want to drive the car to Maryland to get it tuned, and Brad was coming up for the shootout, so we met up during the shootout weekend, and we street tuned the car. Within 30 minutes the car went from a car that felt like a clunky, ill-idling, spark plug fouling car, to drivability that bettered any other DSM I had been in. The car ended up trapping 127mph (60-1 car on 24psi and FWD) that weekend with a header that was falling apart, and ended up getting 33mpg on the trip back home. 33mpg on a 500whp car that starts perfect and idles everyday is impressive to me.
He ended up tuning the car again on the last setup, where it set some records for GT35r power on a DSM (non-EVO). Even at 600whp on pump, and 720whp on race, the car had perfect driveability. I drove it back and forth to work, on road trips, and it never had a glitch.
You REALLY enjoy the car when its operating as smoothly and cleanly as possible.

No problem man. Chris that works for Prayoonto is the one that always says you are the only person he would leave his car with and tune it. That says alot....and that video of you tuning that 1000whp car and it looked smooth speaks volumes for your abilities.

Yeah, that was me I did Yusuf's car about a year or so ago. Good guy. Him and Peter are good friends. We'll be down for the TX supra meet with a few cars for sure!
Thanks Chad,
I've heard nothing but good things from your guys shop too.

oh cool! Awesome... yeah we were talking about you guys coming down. he said he was going to ask Peter about installing cams for both Yousef and myself (Tom) and then seeing if you'd have time to tune our cars? But sounds like you guys would be busy w/ your own agenda, lol..

Sounds like nothing but good words for your work, Brad! I'll let Alex know and I'll most likely come along to see his car make some mad power! Perhaps I'll post a video of some of the action after this Sunday!
