Why would it be hurting my setup??

My tune is very conservative. There is still plenty of more power avail. But as I mentioned Im on the stock bottom end. No need to push it and blow my engine.

Not knocking the header it is just we have been searching for one that really picks up power in low mid and high. when we tested every one we have tried it lost power. and only one made little more power up top but lost low power.

just wondering if you have the time and money just for testing reasons throw on a stock ported exhaust manifold. and see what happen!

Plus stock looks so much more sleeper and sicker then when at track or out and about you do not get picked at!

also i believe if you follow up on most-wanted search on headers he also keep the stock since all the others not making the power he was looking for. and with tubule you risk of cracking!

I should also point out that the car was also heat soaked, as we were having problems getting the rpm's to match up. On that last pull we let the car cool down but the temps were still high.
My rpm's read 2000rpm and the dyno read about 1800rpm so the graph is off around 100-200rpm.

I was going to test it against a stock ported one I had but I ended up selling it. Plus I don't have the extra funds right know to be doing the test

But I do think it helped me pick up power low end. Spool almost looks identical to my Green setup I was running.

LOL i know this sounds kind of dumb but you can not compare fp green with fp red they are two diff turbos.

but, i would like to see you do a stock ported exhaust manifold just to see the diff. reason i say this if your short on cash and you lose down low power and make at most 5hp up top LOL was $987 worth it?

I was comparing the spool up. The red is suppose to spool up later but on my graph you will see that's it's almost identical. (when you move the graph over 200rpm)

So spool up increase is worth it in my opinion plus the bling factor.

Well see if i get the urge to do the test, but I don't I will. Im a happy camper.

Nice numbers! What was your injector duty cycle with the FIC 1450s and BR double pumper? Were 1450s really necessary with that setup? What clutch setup are you using?
