Evo 8 bolt ons + bbk full

Took my 03 8 to San Diego to get it tuned by Alan at Reese Tuning, he did a great job in my opinion.
Took a couple of hours and 9 pulls but i got 321 hp and 343 tq at 26 psi down to 22-23. Just missing some cams and an innercooler, my goal is 360+ on 91 and as soon as I move somewhere with e85 and get some bigger injectors hopefully 420+. He said cams and the innercooler are whats hurting me the most atm, so hopefully soon when I get some $$.

Mods:
Wiesco pistons 9:1 eagle rods removed balance shaft
hallman boost
Injen u/l pipes w/ intake
forge rs bov
invidia o2 housing
BBK full w/ ported core
3" TBE w/ Greddy TI-C catback
dc sports exhaust manifold
percision 780cc injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump

What do you guys think I'll push with some Cosworth M2's and a ETS 3.5" innercooler. I'll get the charts asap, thanks for any input!

Reese uses a Dynojet.

The invidia O2 housing is also not helping anything. Get an ebay O2!

Cosworth M2's are good. I would also consider Kelford 272's and GSC S2's. They should all make similar power and all require new springs/retainers. Go with what you find the best deal on and what your tuner reccomends.

GSC S1's are also great, I run them on my BBK and make good power. They're nice because you don't need to do springs/retainers and you save money on labor.

Yeah just get some good cams and forget the intercooler for now. You will probably pickup at least 30 whp with the cams alone. Maybe more with some good tuning.

Thanks for the replies, I went with the Invidia cause it was suppose to be equal or better gains to the ebay one (from what the search yielded me)

Do a little more research from those that have used it.. Good design theory, bad performance

Ebay o2 or EPM!

Just wondering.. Why would you do a BBK full and not do injectors? Hell my injectors are maxed out on the stock VIII turbo at 21 psi.

m2's or kelford 272's....

as far as the invidia o2 housing goes.... i have sen it outperform a ebay o2 on the same dyno, back to back...the invidia made ~8-10 whp from 4500-7500 rpm....

i dont see how a o2 housing with a 2.420" i.d. is going to make more power than another o2 housing that has a 2.85" i.d.

can you guys back up your claims for the invidia o2's not performing?

dumps are great, if you dont mind the extra sound when WOT.

^ you have a 9, while he has an 8.

even if he kept the stock cams & put cam gears on there & ran them @ -4/-4 or -5/-5, he would pick up ~30whp @ 7k easily, without giving much up down low.

Yeah, you do have a 9 there are plenty of 9's with basic boltons making 330+. All about the cams now

I was referencing what I think was the old buschur O2 test. I think the conlusion was too much turbulence from no dividing wall between the turbine and wastegate exits. I didn't do the test though, so I'm just referencing what I've seen.

nice but 321 is kind of disappointing on a dynojet with your setup. the cams should more than likely help you quite a bit.

i have an 05. ported bbk full with tomei procam 270's. peaked at 367awhp on a dynodynamics on a stock motor, intercooler and head. 91 **** octane fuel and slipping clutch. once you get your cams and fmic you should be well over 350+ awhp... esp on a dj.

perhaps consider going with 1000cc injectors and E85? it will kick even more @ss.
