ur boost is tapering a lot @ redline (18 psi?).

i am gonna retune for 25 psi to 23 psi @ redline and see some better numbers. its my aggressive map so i only use it @ the occassional race lol

Ahh, that makes more sense, you are tapering to 18 psi by 7k rpms. I think i should be able to hold at least 20-21 with the ported turbo, manifold and BOV. That should be worth a little more up top. Looks good though, i can't wait to get mine done!

Hallman Manual boost controller
HKS drop in filter
Deatschwerks 880cc injectors
Walbro 255 pump
AMS fuel rail
ARP headstuds

I want to thank Chris at AMS for doing a great job tuning the car. And Dan at AMS who helped me out with everything up front. Everyone at AMS was cool as hell and a pleasure to work with !!!

Im having trouble posting my dyno sheet on my POS work computer, so ill try and get it up later tonight or tomorrow from home.

My #'s were 310 whp and 320 wtq on 91 octane
and 351 whp and 392 wtq on E85 (both are SAE corrected)

My girlfriends 07 stage 2 sti made 282 whp and 316 wtq on 91 octane
How's it feel with all that new mods? I remember my first visit to AMS was something like yours, and it was awesome! It felt like having a whole new car. AMS always does a great job.

He has a halman MBC so i would think that is a pretty good one. I have the evolution rx or whatever it is with the ceramic ball. I won't have time to go with the ecu controlled boost but we'll see what my setup does next tursday on e85.

As far as the boost leak goes, how does it hold 30 psi but won't hold more than 20 at redline? Idk if that makes sense to me.

The new mods made a hell of a difference! Shifting through the gears is so much different than before. How fast the power comes on is still surprising to me. I have an awesome time driving around town blowing by everyone from stoplights and never giving it more than quarter throttle. AMS in my opinion did a great job! I'm an AMS fan for life. This trip was just the vacation me and the babe needed. It was nice getting out of omaha for a few days, getting trashed in a different city and being hungover at a hotel, all while knowing my car is getting worked on by some badass's. Not to shabby, imo... Now its just time to save up for my next trip.

I think what's keeping you from holding more boost is the stock wga. Try replacing it with an fp 18psi wga or a forge unit.

Re the stock airbox, if you like to keep it, there is a thread on here that shows you how to modify it in order to make it flow more air. I've already tried it and it's worth it. Just do a little search to find the thread.

Good Luck

time to ditch that MBC and go ECU-controlled boost. FWIW, my car 337hp/298tq SAE on the same dyno on 93. Hoping to beat those #s with E85.

Regarding the wga, I would say you definately need a retune. You can get away with the air filter box modification w'out a retune in my opinion.

The upgraded wga is a MUST if you want to take full advantage of the e85. 18 psi is just too low (at 7000 rpm), and there is alot to gain imo. I run straight pump gas (equivalent to the us 93 oct), and have 24 psi at 7000 rpm. I have a similar spike to yours (29-30 psi).

You should see TREMENDOUS gains from getting to hold more boost, especially that you are running e85.

If you do feel to discuss this further plz send me a pm
