what is the average price for a tune and what goes on when my car gets tuned

Depends on the tune and tuner really.

If its an ECU reflash then it involves some runs (dyno or street), data logging and flashing of the ECU.

Im pretty sure the steps are the same in regards to standalone systems as well.

it is based on different things but generally $400 give or take $50

$400-$500 depedning on the tuner and tune.


and what you mean what goes in your car??....whatever mods you have go on your car haha


unless you mean what does the tuner do?

they adjust timing, AFR, fuel, boost, etc.....and off course whatever tricks they no to make each tuner different.
