Yea do it and play around with boost till you hit your AFR's right...

In other words... Don't touch your boost and get a retune for racegas.

If you put in higher octane and dont change the boost you will be fine. More octane doesnt hurt anything. The problem is turning the boost up beyond where the car is tuned. Most tuners will make the car super rich and with low timing above the tuned boost levels so the car will try to run safe if the boost "accidentally" goes above the appropriate boost levels. If you want more boost tune it to that boost level.

When you originally got tuned why didnt you do a higher boost tune at the same time?

i only wanted to see 500 whp and i hit that at 25 psi. im just seeing if i do a mix even if its 104 what will happen. lets say i leave the boost where it is now at 25-26 psi and just add race gas. since i am tuned for the boost the car should mostly, take away some or any knock i have which will then add timing, instead of pulling it when i knock. more timing more power

On a stock ECU it will put you further to the left on the load axis, so the timing will drop and the car will richen or lean depending on how close to being out of fuel it is now. It wont hurt but it wont necesarily help. It will make the 506whp tune you are on now that much more reliable however.
