80mm FP Red @ 29psi, 93 + Meth = 450whp

450whp / 374wtq ... 29psi, 93 + Meth

9:1 2.0L
FP 4R
80mm FP Red (unported)
Forge WGA
Ported stock exhaust manifold
3" Helix downpipe
3" QTP cutout
ETS Intake / UICP / LICP
AGP FMIC
Aquamist HFS-1

Stock: ECU, BOV, Boost Solenoid, Head, Intake Mani/TBody, Plugs, Ignition

The motor had 400 miles on it when I went to the dyno. It did burn a bit of oil.... just the rings setting??? The second chart is vs. Green on stock cams (400whp, same boost, same fuel). Tons of top end gain over the Green... +75whp at 7000RPM. Spools almost IDENTICAL to the Green, but cams took away some low range power.

The 400whp on the Green was good for consistent 121mph traps with a single 122mph trap last year.

1/8 mile results on the Red: 7.1sec @ 99.6mph

What are you doing just base lining it or what ? Think you should max the tune out on pump first again then add the meth ?

I see most car's making over 450 just on 93. Not to bust sorry. I was just surprised.

450 on a mustang is approximately 515 on a dynojet so I think that his tune is pretty spot on.

you cant base his numbers on what could be on another dyno .

i agree his numbers do seem a little low.

ttp keeps pumping out 500+ on a mustang dyno on the reds

I agree to a degree. I have seen an evo, same tune in both instances, put on a dynojet and make 538 and then go right on to a mustang and make 455 for a 15% difference. That being said, I agree that some dynos are adjustable and others are not and some read lower and some higher, but for a general rule of thumb, a 15% difference can be calculated when going from a dynojet to mustang or the other way around. Not to get into a dyno conversation, I was simply commenting that the original posters number of 450 on a mustang is a good number.

im starting to get really confused with fp turbos, the new green seems to make just as much or more then the red or there marketing for the new green is inflated. something just doesnt seem right!!

"Run 1" is not graphed, it's an old run from pump only.

"Run 2" is the Red, 29.4 psi peak. "Run 3" is the Green, 28.8 psi peak

Thanks for everyone's comments and feedback. Honestly, I wanted to break 450whp and I did, so I'm happy. It may make more power in another couple thousand miles after the rings seat better, you can see the oil burn in the video.

As far as if I'm making appropriate power for my mods, I would say yes... While there are some great examples of 500+whp Reds, they are usually on E85 or race gas, 35+psi, and/or at least have some more big-breathing mods that help them get up there.

Plus I think the Red vs. Green comparison is all you need to see... there's a 75whp gain at 7000RPM... trust me, the car is no slouch!

Shacochis06 made 412whp on 30psi + 93, no meth
razorlab tuned one to 448whp on 30psi + 110 and another with 425whp on 28psi + 110.
