Its amazing how much fuel an M10 or M15 will add. Realistically add the value/4 to the current injector size to see what is really going on. Methanol is less dense of course but it still allows you to visual a value for comparison.

Congrats on the power. The 3586 is definitely no joke for making nice power at "low" boost.

Hmm, as someone who's considering an HTA3586 in the future, I'm disappointed by the fact that peak torque is at 6300RPM. That's a lot of lag

Well we are dealing with a turbo that has a 800awhp power ability on a fully built and prepped motor. It's definitely not an autocross setup but a strip/highway mega monster!

With the similar turbo 6262 I have seen cars hitting 105-108 on the 1/8 on pump easily! That's what this turbo is about!

Nice to see the non-cdi cop lighting off the mixture. You don't have anything to worry about it was recently tested to 771whp without any issues.

Congrats that's a lot of power on a stock block

1.2 CF! Do the math, that's 460

This is very true. I was running my stock injectors on my VIII up to 128% w/ an IX turbo spiking to 28psi with the addition of a 1.0mm aquamist jet (~450cc of meth) I had just enough fuel

I'm with you...top-end is pretty amazing holding power all the way, but the numbers are a bit dissapointing...My BBK@30psi on pump/meth put down 430whp on dyno dynamics (1.0CF...that's 515whp with a 1.2CF) and did it almost 2000rpms sooner than this setup. Unless you rev the **** out of it this seems like a laggy, laggy setup for the power it put down. Like I said above though, only HKS 272's....A set of kelfords and some valve springs would prolly do wonders for this setup. How aggressive is the tune? How much timing is it running at ~7500?

scheides,
I see there to be no reason why they should be using a CF of 1.2. They're not in 150 degree ambient temps and they certainly aren't at 2k feet.

Honestly they arent that laggy. The word lag in and of itself kind of is antiquated. LAG is what a french fighter with a Renault turbo motor experienced back in WWI. This is low power to 4500 or so and then its gone. In car and on the street it doesnt really feel like it looks on the chart. Stay a gear lower and rev to 8k and the power is all you crave.

I completely agree.

it's supposed to be a dynojet compensation but it's a bit overzealous. Dyno dynamics dunks are so consistent, everyone should just use 1.0 IMHO.

high boost threshold then. Call it what you want but this car has no torque under 6000rpm. I've driven a 35r car, I know it's fun, but for a dd street car the powerband just isn't wide enough (IMHO) unless you really rev it out...and I like my stock block
