I just got her back together, and all I can say is damn she is fun to drive. I have it set at somewhere around 22 psi right now, so I can't imagine how 28 psi feels. First gear is useless. I would like to log boost, and I have an OMNI 4 bar map sensor, but I don't think it is setup yet. Is there a how-to on setting it up so that I can show you guys some boost logs?

I tried figuring out the settings in Ecuflash for the omni 4 bar map sensor, but I can't get it to work. When I try to log boost it just read 37.xx psi all the time and it never changes. I followed the instruction in the thread in the Ecuflash forum, but obviously I screwed something up.

Yes it will, but it gives up spool. Unless you're running 40psi, I don't think the gains warrant the loss of spool. If the 82 keeps gaining 25 hp/psi that means another 6 psi will put me around 700whp. Thats a lot of power for a street car.
+1 and great build

You may have one of the sensors where you have to flip flop the MAP sensor wires; I had the same issue w/ my 4-Bar. You can read up about it here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...-settings.html

In the dyno testing I've done - the metal stock BOV started leaking around 23psi. You get the turbo to blow more psi that that - but part of your air charge is getting recirculated rather than going straight into the motor. . .

We picked up 40ft# at the torque spike by switching from the stock BOV to a Forge unit that did not leak at all. . . NO other changes at all. Boost went up from 28psi spike to 32psi spike without touching the boost controller or tune. . .

Nice! I bet that's it. I've had the sensor sitting around for a couple months, so I probably got one of the bad ones. I searched, but I only typed in "Omni" and that thread didn't show up. Thanks again.

Thanks Creamo3, that was the issue. I haven't gone out and driven yet, but it seems right at idle.

Get the APS twin vent bov, hands down the best for stock ecu and holds 40 psi solid!

Did you get the omni 4 bar MAP sensor setup? Bet the car is a blast!

I will buy a new BOV, just not sure when. Yes I did get the MAP sensor working. I am running low boost right now, so it only shows 20psi at 4k rpm, but when I crank up the boost again I will be sure to log.

I just made the switch to the synchronic... amazing.

I had the stock 9 dv
Crushed 9 dv
gus M modded and crushed 9 dv
TiAL 50mm valve VTA
and now the syncronic... best decision every.

Your stock bov is leaking undoubtedly... mine leaked TERRIBLY when I got the Red! I had to rescale my injectors during the retune it was leaking so bad.
