what will be the best cams for 400/400
The 272s are good all around cams. I had 272/272s in my IX and when I swapped in a 280 exhaust cam (272/280) I picked up a solid 15hp from 6-8k rpms. The only reason I didn't put in a 280 intake is because HKS doesn't make one for the IX.
If you plan to upgrade your valvetrain you should go kelford 272s. Kelfords don't loose a lot of midrange but makes lots of peak power! Good Luck!

if an evo 8 i'd say kelford 272, your best bet is to search these forums.AMS put up a GREAT thread on cam set ups, the power those cams make, etc.. as recompile said wrong forum. sorry mods, to add to this mess; however, to the OP use the SEARCH button! (it's your friend).
