Every car is different. 2 cars could have the same mods but see totally different #'s

It hits 25PSI and then drops to like 21-22 PSI.

It could be my Intake, it could be the heat, who knows. Car feels good, I said I am going back with a new intake, results will vary.

Also post your Dyno sheet, I wouldn't mind comparing notes to see the area under the curve, not the peak numbers so to speak. I am VERY happy with the way my Torque hits and holds.

^ maybe a perrin filter? The 92 degree weather can't help either!!

yeah.. i'm more interested in area under the curve instead of peak numbers as well.. it's tough to say, i'm not sure what he was revving my car out to since it's in MPH and not RPM.

mods: walbro, perrin intake kit, hallman @ 26psi spike, dc sports catless dp, greddy evo2 catback, muse LICP and 83 degrees with 32% humidity.

We are about the same dude, obviously 99 Degress Vs. 82 Degrees helps. It looks like my Torque hits faster but your torque holds longer. See how mine dies after 7000RPM's? Yours doesn't. I am hoping that a New HKS Filter will Remedy this situation.

Right on man. I just feel that with a ported hotside, manifold and cams you should be well above me.

It's kind of discouraging on my end, just because those were going to be my next engine mods, but at this rate, I think I'll just move on to suspension and keep the motor the way it is.

let me know what you run at the track. good luck

Mods help, Porting helps. I was never the biggest fan of the Dyno Jet, I made WAY more power with my Evo VIII on a Dyno Jet in some unnamed NJ Tooner Shop and it ran slow as poop. Tuning is key, breathing is key. I could have a boost leak, I doubt it though, car feels VERY strong. Back to the Dynojet, it doesn't load the car the same as it is loaded on the street. It was 99 Degrees and then it rained adding humidity. This Tuesday I will post my 1/4 times this Tuesday when I hit up Atco. Hopefully I will get back to IveyTune before then with my New Filter and tune.

Regardless of the type of dyno... there is a great comparison here because we were tuned on the same dyno in very similar conditions (34% vs. 32% humidity and only a difference of about 10 degrees), plus, tuned by the same tuner. I don't care about numbers on varying dynos, but strictly for comparitive purposes, the dyno is doing exactly what it's meant to in this case.

Hopefully you can drive, that is the key.

There is a large variance in times and MPH for the same HP leaving our shop!!

For example, we do alot of meth/stock turbo cars that make 380-410 wheel. Some run 12.4@117, some run 11.6@120 you would not believe the difference.

Good luck.

Sean

I'll bet you will pick up more power with porting and cams, not every car is the same you know.

Dude calm down. I Spin 1st gear as is. Track your car to see what it runs, even if you are a bad driver trap speeds will be the teller here. You should have 117MPH+ with the way you talk about your car.

Intake won't make that much power but look at the FILTER I am using.

Apexi (note small filter inlet in 2nd picture)

Who knows, but not 20WHP, but I bet it does add some more flow.

the filter will help out the trap alittle, mabye not noticable but it will help out. we all have to remember that the stock cam on the evo 9 is an extremely good cam so the increase in power from an s1 cam isnt going to be something extreme.

also temps do kill the cars performance.

i think the power output of his car is exaclty where it should be, subsitition of acouple of parts here and there and hell be making nice power.

when does your filter get in?

Im glad u can spin first gear rain and tire wet doesn't count..lol..but i have to say that filter is really bad change that thing fast it's difinitly hurting flow choking up that turbo flow the hks is pretty good in not crazy about that mushroom filter soaks alot of heat go with a standard filter kit like ams or buschur and save your money toward getting a tune...
