Hopefully to steer this back on topic.


I just picked up a HKS Intake filter. I hop to see Sean either Monday (early) or Tuesday (Early) to get a retune on my car. Then it is off to Atco with Justin VIII.

 

Give it a good boost leak test too bro. Have you had your tb seals replaced yet? I read page one and your mods didn't say anything about a tb so I thought I'd ask. I'm sticking around for rd 2 good luck!

 

I had the car boost leak tested a while ago, it was fine. There was a TINY leak from one vacuum hose but that was fixed. The car hits and holds boost quite well. Maybe my IX BOV is leaking? IDK I can always try again.

 

Should probably do it every other month or so. Make sure all the vacuum lines are zip-tied too. You've probably have already done all that - just sayin. AFAIK our 9 metal BOV's should be good to 30psi so it should be fine. I'm always all OCD about everything before I get tuned too

HKS Filter is on and I scheduled my retune for Wednesday. I was really hoping for today or tomorrow for the Atco track runs so I will not be able to post runs. Sorry guys.

 

Update added, power is final for now.

 

Made no more power switching the intake ?

 

I went from 342 to 354. My torque increased Dramatically as well. Again adding that filter alone picked up 5WHP, then when tuned it got me 10.


Car feels good, when I have baller cash like you I will build a monster

We looked for it seriously, it would just start to knock.
