TTP tuned 2006 Evo IX 552whp on 93 6265!

Sean really loves the Evo. He has had a few of them over the past few years. The newest, a white 2006 IX GSR was very nice. Sean has been bitten by the modification bug hard. So hard in fact that he has pressed the limits too far a few times over the years and breaking his car several times over, making this bug a very costly one.

Sean spent most of the last few years trying to recruit new customers for one of our competitors. He would race the car whenever possible and was addicted to speed. Unfortunately over the course of pressing the limits, he has had several catastrophic engine failures for whatever reasons.

After losing his 4th engine in two Evo's Sean decided that he was tired of blowing up an finally brought his Evo to an expert.

After spending the last few months getting the car back together, he settled on a T3 DNP manifold, magnus sheetmetal intake, and pieced together a PTE 6265 journal bearing turbo on 1050cc injectors.

After applying our stock ECU / MAF tuning to his setup, we were able to extract 552whp and 450wtq on straight 93 octane alone. Racefuel tuning to come in the near future.

1600 maxed at 5200rpms. Haven't set it up to log higher than that.

I am glad Sean has his car back running.

He is a good pal of mine and I give big for the hard hard work he has put in it.

1050cc, single walbro pump, 1000cc injectors and 100% injector duty cycle at 7562rpms in case any anyone was wondering.

Its time for a 2nd pump, larger injectors or both.

I am sure its probably doing well over 2000 though. With that power level, I wouldnt doubt its doing 2500+. I would love to see what its actually doing though. If you do happen to log that if you retune it, could you possibly see how high its really going?
