470WHP FP Red Single 255 Pump
So basically you are saying that I can still have a very spirited EVO with the FP Red on E85 with 1200cc injectors. I'm just not trying to buy the double pumper as I'm not shooting for astronomical numbers.
We just ran out of single pump on a Evo 10 at only a little over 400whp on our Mustang dyno on E85. The 8/9's we have at 480 so far. (usually 450-460 with stock rail)

Indeed. However it's looking like the Evo 10's have a bit lower limits on the single pump than the 8/9's do for some reason.

Troy I've tried to explain it but lucas is too close minded and has the I have a shop and you dont so you dont know any thing mentality so he wouldn't hear it.
I got 81k and my motor has seen more abuse then rdwngs444 and most the others who's failure occurred on. The reason it hasn't blown up is because its always had a good tune.
I've seen the maps out of that place. All of them look like **** and are way beyond MBT. Everything in the bottom end will fail if you get lots of detonation or high cylinders from timing being sent over the limits.
Just cause I don't own a shop or am so small time tuner doesn't mean I don't know a thing or two.
My biggest regret was sending my friend there last summer because john buckley recommended them. And because of that my friend hasn't driven his evo in well over a year. They've screwed plenty of other people and I can only suspect it will happen to you sometime in the future.
Dennis won't have to worry how ever because he is in good hands. Tobz is twice the shop carz could ever be. The only reason they did any good was cause a bunch of rich people brought there cars there and in turn got some meager results that just so happen to be the fastest to date.
Give me some money and I'll be more then happy to smash right into the 9's.

I got 81k and my motor has seen more abuse then both yours and rdwngs444 combined. The reason it hasn't blown up is because its always had a good tune.

I have no hostility towards Tobz in any way, shape or form, nor you for that matter, so I'm not sure why my car is brought up to prove a point that doesn't exist.
Sorry for the
that's fine and all that you feel that way, but my car wasn't on a carz tune when it let go, you just assumed that.

I brought it up because I believe its the reason of some of the failure's and not just because of building boost at low RPM. We are talking about 4G63's after all.
480-490whp Dynojet is fine with me WITHOUT having to buy that double pumper. That is just one part that I CANNOT under any reason get myself to purchase at that price. Heck, I'll rock that 480-490whp with a huge smile on my face and still smoke just about anything on the street with four wheels.
I can't wait to get back from Iraq as this is my fourth deployment.

Fellahs, I'm not sure if the previous posts were about GST or not and I'm not trying to get mixed up in what's going on. Bottom line is that I just bought a FP Red with the 64mm surge port. I already have a 255lph fuel pump and I DO NOT want to purchase the double pumper WHATSOEVER. My concern is whether or not I should purchase some 1000cc or 1200cc injectors if I plan to run E85? I know that power-wise I'll be limited but for right now I'm just concerned about having everything set up for once I'm able to go as planned. If I chose not to run the E85 for the short-term goal, the 1000cc injectors should suffice, right? Thanks.
lol dude you really need to rethink what your saying. 1000cc injectors for no e85. heck you can still run those on e85 if your GOING E85 your REALLY truely should get a double pumper heck you need to get one anyways if your going 480 and up. you might think its a dumb price to pay but when your tuning your car for the first time after all is installed it would really SUX for you to run out of fuel i have seen it happen then your force to buy it and retune more money down the drain just buy it and another fuel rail and call it a day and you will not have to worry about gas issues anything. Remeber every car is different some take better to mods then others
Heck, I even told you those were/are my plans through PM over the past two days. You mention a 480 power mark as the ceiling for when the double pumper is absolutely necessary. To be perfectly honest with you, my goals are a safe 450whp/450wtq as I don't want to get to the point where I have to build the bottom end or breaking parts every week because I'm making too much power. I'm not a fan of buying parts that are not quality so once I get that FP Red, it will surely be built around quality and nothing but quality. I know that eventually I'll need the double pumper as (like you have said) it is overall safer for my car but for the short-term, I only want to get tuned and take advantage of the benefits of E85 even if I'm not operating or using its full potential. Regardless, I'm of the frame of mind that I could still make more power with my IDCs at 85-90% with E85 over pump/93 any day of the week. The concern that I have is that I don't want to have to replace the 1000cc injectors with 1200cc injectors once it's time for the next round of modification parts. Now maybe I have things all wrong and your post is bringing to light an aspect that I might have been overlooking. Fuel injectors are only nozzles with valves but the power to actually inject the fuel comes from the fuel pump that normally starts the fuel injection process, right? In that case, I can totally see why it wouldn't matter if I were to run the 1,000cc or the 1,200cc injectors as the double pumper would still be needed. Heck, I guess I am learning.
