nice build chad... we have one of your 33r on the shelf still. we got it to build a kit for the 2.3 TT car, but i like the HTA86 an awful lot lag isn't bad at all and 600whp at 29psi is fun we'll post up results when denver builds the kit for it. he wants to do twin scroll with it and put a new hotside on it.
Kevin,

let me know if its the billet version or not...

we have seen 15-20whp gains on the new billet wheel at the same boost with better transient response because of the improved aero and less mass.

Hmmm I cant Wait to get Micks Setup, but out in Guam we have 91 Octane. I might have to run a little Meth to turn up the boost a bit. Here is my Build plan that will Start Jan 5th

Stock 2.0 w/26K on the Clock
Buschur Racing Stage 3 Head
Kelford 272 cams
MAP V3 Intake Manifold
65MM Milspec TB
PTE 880cc Injectors
ETS Equal Length Mani/ CBRD 330R Package
CBRD Radiator
ETS 3.5" Short Route IC Piping
Exedy HD or Quartermaster Twin (Have Both Cant Decide)
Labonte Meth Injection

I am not going to be going Crazy because I dont want to Grenade the Engine and I want to go to a 2.3 as soon as I get back to the States Next year.

What Power can I expect with 25PSI? Will those 880s be able to keep up?

Deak,

you should be fine at 25psi..... the 330R is going to spool a little slower than the 33R, but its still a nice turbo, ive made just under 500whp with it on our dyno.

cheers

I think that will be more than enough for Guam.... I dont want to put a Cage in and they are pretty strict with the 11.49 Rule.......

Cant wait to get that Kit and the CBRD Order that Caleb hooked me up with........ Happy Thanksgiving to the CBRD Crew

Holy cranberry sauce that is tangy! 630 whp @ 30psi, that is good stuff.

yes,

the 33R (now called 33RB- because it has a billet compressor) is a t3 flanged turbo...

we can put it in a custom 4 housing, T4 twinscroll, T3, T3 twinscroll etc....

it has 30R spool but makes 35R power... the highest HP numbers on our dyno have been achieved with this turbo... our TA car makes 533whp on pump gas with, as does another TA car we built (both at only 25 psi)....

The billet compressor wheel revision allowed us to maintain the same spool as the previous cast wheel, but with the same boost pressure its worth about a 5-8% gain in power and torque.

I was pretty sure Brent has the dyno record at ~740whp with a 4202.
