FP Red, Aem Ems, BF 272, Sick Power...

Had a client schedule a tune for this afternoon with a beautiful evo 8. Car is equipped with the old style FP Red and made some real nice pump and race gas power on our dyno with a 1.0 CF.

The car made 424whp @ 27psi and 480whp @ 34 psi on C-16.

Important Mods:

Aem Ems
FP Red "old style"
BF 272 Cams w/ supertech duals (un-ported head)
Full Supporting Mods- TBE, IC W/Piping etc..
Bone Stock Bottom End

Dyno Sheets:

This is a really impressive build for a stock bottom end, stock head with a great set of cams, aem ems, and great fuel. Some supporting mods with this turbo and you have a proven 10 second stock appearing turbo evo 8 or 9 with the right tune and driver.

The Red spools like a 35R? Why is that?

With this much power the car should go 132mph!

I agree with the other fella who posted. It seems a bit laggy for a red.

Don't Red's make 30 psi around 4000 rpm in 4th gear. So that means over 4500 in 3rd... and the BF272's probably aren't helping spool too much. Sort of a top end cam I think.

I believe the roller speed synch was a little off. That could contribute to why the graph looks a little laggy. The BF272 don't help the low to mid-range either. All in all the car is making stout power on the stock bottom end. The race gas used was C-16 and the car could have made 500whp but we felt the car was getting close to the ragged edge for our liking.

The owner of this car also has a low 8 second starlet so there is no need to go to crazy for his daily driver

I'd Like to thank Charlie,Pete,Pops,Remy(for making me spend money lol)and Leo.Cams were selected for top end power as i mostly drag race.I would of choosen something different if i was going to road race. Not bad for a daily driver.Starlet coming soon should run mid 7s with the 4G right off the bat.90" wheelbase,1000 hp and a light car should be fun.

How does your dyno compare to a DJ? around 520ish??? Also do you have boost curves that you can post?
