Yup times are in the signature., best I got was 11.50 @ 136 this was with 25 psi of boost all it would do is spin the 26 by 9.5 slicks to the 1000ft mark.. It just kept eating manual transmissions, so I just finished the swap to a manual valve bodied Automatic. It is alot more fun now. Unfortunately the tracks are closed here in michigan, so I will have to wait until next year.

Sorry that this off topic, but here is a video of me racing my evo (the evo had 406HP at the time)

if you ever get bored CMB you can read about it in my blog at my local forum , lots of building and information in the link below..

Nice build on both cars, good to see other fwd dsms making good numbers. Check my sig, I feel your pain, im sure between the two of us we can share alot of good useful information. What are you using to tune?

Awesome! congrats!

Let me know when you are going to the track, I and some other evo's will for sure tag along. By then I should have 35R and E85, I have a AEM but I'm tempted to to sell it and go SD with the stock ecm.

Looked like you where still gaining @ 7500rpm any reason not to take it higher?
Also do you have the stock gears? What size tires?

It would be interesting to feel the difference between this car and Tara's.

I most likely need that housing too

Evan

Whats happening evan ? good to see you in here.

the track event will have to be next year sometime after the end of may ( getting married that month) ...

No particular reason the test was stopped at 7500 ..

Yes stock gears, the only thing that is changed in the tranny is that I have an evo 9 1st gear, the rest is all evo 8 gears. Tire size is 255 35 18.

I would imagine that taras car would feel a lot faster since is makes so much torque. The power with this car is really gradual and just seems to keep on pulling up top ( the flat Torque curve).

I still have the housing, so whenever you need it just let me know.

Congrats on getting married!

Only reason I'm asking about the tire size and gearing is I was just doing all the math for tara's car.

Basically to hit 130, you'll have to rev to ~ 8200rpm, by then all her power is gone, That's why I'm leaning toward a 35r over a FP turbo.

Bet your car is faster, you can take advantage of the stock final drive gearing.

nice work. what was final injector duty on those 1000s ?
that regulator looks like it got some meth in it. one of the many reasons to stay clear of meth injection if you can. just not reliable enough.

38six, --- we are backyard mechanics check this thread out... you will see us doing all the work, in a backyard . It is just a hobby that jeremy and I enjoy. all the work is done by us.

94awdcoupe... you are a smart guy , I didn't even think of the possibility that the meth was making it into the regulator... I just cut the top off the bad regulator, RUST EVERYWHERE... next up will be disecting the lower portion of the regulator to see how bad the diaphram was not seating..
As far as the duty cycles go, I am unsure what the final numbers were, we could do a pull on the freeway and get those numbers to you

Thanks for the positive comments everyone.
