Unfortunately there's always one "Debbie downer".

It's not a surprise that everyone already knows the CF used, since Nolimit's dyno operator is honest with it. It hasn't changed since the first month of using the dyno "and it will never change" as per Rob's quote. Makes it very easy to relate to wouldn't you think?

No need for excuses here, since the graph speaks far louder than anything else.

On to bigger and better things for 2010, since arguing with Trolls is a thing of the past.
Yes we dont have the problem of changing the correction factor everyday It has and will always be 1.15

Not trying to start anything and I find it honorable that you guys leave it at a certain CF, but can I ask why was 1.15 picked??

It seems like the only reason to pick that number is to inflate numbers. Now Im not saying you guys change it or ANYTHING like that. Just asking why didnt you just put it on 1.0 CF when you got the dyno and left it there? Why pick 1.15 CF?

*Lil piece of information*

A car that dynos 400HP at 1.0CF, will dyno 460HP at 1.15CF

Probably because DD's read crazy low at 1.0 CF. I imagine the 1.15 would put it close to Dynojet #s.

Yep they do read crazy low, so I can understand that point of it.

But why not just buy a dynojet though if you want dynojet numbers? (I know and fully understand load based dynos vs inertia type)

Also if there gonna run that CF so it reads like a dynojet, then every Top Level dyno thread should have a disclaimer saying...

"This Dyno Dynamics dyno reads like a Dynojet dyno"

I'll upload pics of under the black car's hood at some point today,,,, no need for "Ninja editing"...

We wanted the dyno to read like a dyno jet to be honest. So we took 3 cars a evo, sti and K20 civic threw them on our dyno and then on a dyno jet the same day and 1.15 was the same as the dyno jet numbers within 2-3hp.

Because we wanted the options the DD dyno has over the dyno jet. Dyno jet numbers are the industry std so most people who dont know any better will just assume that the low number their car makes on the DD is jsut because the tune is bad or something related to the tune even tho its not the case.

No problem man. We explain this to everyone who goes on the dyno also so that they dont get the wrong impression and go around being like i made 500whp on a LOW reading DD dyno lol

If your up front and HONEST with your customers youll NEVER have to cover your *** about what your Dyno produces.. There is a reason why Chris @ NLM NEVER comes up in the dyno debates while having an adjustable correction dyno.. If i owned that dyno i wouldnt blame him for setting the correction at DYNOJET correction.. There are many customers who unknowingly leave disappointed when they see a lower # than their friends car with less mods.. Its just that you cannot pick and choose which cars you want to dyno @ Dynojet level and which you want to dyno low.. thats what causes the PROBLEMS...
