Do you guys know what size exhaust housing is on this car? How is the spoolup on the street? Where does this monster hit 40psi at? I am debating what exhaust housing to run on my next setup (if I ever decide what turbo to run )

Thanks

Thanks for the kind words fellas, I really appreciate it. Please keep in mind a solid mechanical foundation plays a major role in the combo holding together on the dyno at these power levels.

Top Level Performance has been doing this for quite some time. I'm happy to join the team.

I'm pretty sure it's an .8x a/r --t4 configuration. I'd have to check my logs again to see when it peaks on the street. Pretty sure it's almost 500-700rpm sooner.

What turbo are you deciding between?

Something in the ~67mm range. Weather it is the billet from pte or something else. I have been looking at the BW turbos also, the 91-79 to be exact. Turbing housing does not matter as I will build the header myself, just want the best power for the response time setup.

What rpm range do you prefer to use? Displacement of your motor? Compression? Hp Goal?

Rev limiter will be set at 9k maybe 9200, standard 2.0, crower rods, weisco1400hd pistons, 9.0:1 compression. I want ~800 (dynojet) hp on kill mode.

Since you build your own header, how do you feel about a billet 6765 twin-scroll 1.06 a/r?

I have not seen a Twin-scroll housing for the pte turbos. Its def a option. Anything is at this point, thats why I am buggin you about spool numbers with the open t4.

Ok,, Just reviewed a quick log,,, With straight waste gate boost 21psi spring ( No boost controller between the manifold pressure signal prior to the waste gate ) this car saw 20psi @ 5900 on a third gear pull. First and second a bit later, 4th a bit sooner. I concentrate on a third gear pull to really judge a turbo. But man when it hits-- IT REALLY HITS...lol

Ya I always use 3rd gear to judge myself. I bet it does hit hard . Am I safe to assume this monster does not hit ~40psi till well after 6k?
