Top Level + Ets 37r kit + Aem ems= Over 700hp!!

I never had a chance to go into this build into detail,,, so here we go!!

2006 evo ix
Top Level spec build on the 2.0 motor
Top Level spec fuel system with twin pumps
Ams vsr intake mannifold
Ams Race Ic
Stock ignition + Hks dli
Kelford 272's
Stock TB
Ets t4 37r kit
Aem ems
Buschur Exhaust
E-Spec Tuned

On 93 pump gas@21 psi (Wastegate) this car made 490hp first pull from the "road tune"... We brought the car to the dyno low on gas, finished off the pump map, and then loaded in the 'go juice' for the race map.

734hp...c-16...Smoothing 0

Another "Average Joe" loose in the streets.

Looks good man. What boost did it take to make 730+?

Thanks

Also, do you know what size exhaust housing is on the car?

Thanks

Looks like a miss or a degree of timing at 7500? Still very very nice, but it tears on the street.

Not sure with that question,,, I'll check with Ricky (Owner of Toplevel ) and post up the answer

Funky looking on the dyno sheet I agree!!! That's why I always use smoothing 0-- it shows all the 'ups and downs' on the pull. Smoothing 5 almost eliminates this dip...

This dip was more related to the tires spinning on the dyno.... Allow me to share some logs with you of boost, air temps, rpms, and vehicle speed,,,,

This shot is at about 92mph @ 7500 rpms

You can see the mph ramp up to 99mph @ 7700rpm as the tires spun...

And then as the tires caught traction the mph drops back to 93mph @ 7900rpm,,,

Normally when misfires occur the opposite happens,,, you'll get a drop in vehicle speed on the miss, and then it will pick the speed back up as the ignition catches up.

On a side note,,, I'll share some findings on the AMS race intercooler...

Start of pull,,,

End of pull...

Ouch!! That's 20 degrees in 1 third gear pull?? This cooler flows like a bat out of hell, but needs some help in the temp control dept vs the buschur or ets products that I've tested at these boost levels on similar combos.

Erk, I appreciate the tech and logs. I have seen the same be misfires, so its interesting to see other explanations for why the dips occur.
