Dereks setup is lower than 9:1.. He has a IX headgasket in his car which lowers compression and his motor is of the older design with pistons deeper in the hole.. These are all estimates so we are just guessing..

It would pickup i am sure.. However the investment of $$ into this car is being kept minimal.. I already have a $$$ pit GSR.. LOL

That is nuts. Two questions.

1. If you had to ballpark it, how much do the ported exhaust/intake manifolds and TB contribute?

2. How much would you expect to pick up if you swapped the o2 housing for a dump? Quicker spool as well?

I have done several back to back tests with BR Ported IM and TB and EXh mani.. Typically the Intake and TB give 15-20 and Exhaust 10 or so..

I dont know if the dump will pick up more than 10 or so on this application as we are already at the limit of the Turbos efficiency range..

Didnt know a stock IX headgasket will work with the 86.5 4g64 bore or was it modified?

The headgasket on the 4g64 is modified. he was referring to the headgasket on my 4g63 block.

Btw: we got a chance to run the car tonight. 10.27 best et and best mph of 136. Couldn't get a good run together. More info in the drag race section.

Nice setup, but I'm surprised at the spool. Looks like 30 psi happens after 4500 rpm. For a 2.4l, that makes me think this BBK Full is a bit lazier than I thought.

It is going to depend on every combination in the package,

I can post plenty of plots for BBK's on 2 liters showing boost plots if you like, and Bryan from GST has plenty for 2.3's and 2.0's!
