I tuned a friends evo 8 with only downpipe stock exhaust and boost controller and tune and i hit 317 at the wheels at turbochargers

Go with Hellcat if you want a good tune for a decent price . I can't wait to go back to you for my 2nd tune Carl . - Vinh

put more mods in then get one tune. Make sure he's a good tuner and quick. Some tuner take their time, but that doesnt mean he's good. I changed tuner 4 times already.

That was my plan but that shop didn't seem trustworthy so I went somewhere else for a new baseline. Got the feeling the original place was messing with the settings to show a dangerous a/f reading to scare me into getting it tuned there at their cost of $500. This seemed to be the case after MDR found no a/f spike as shown on the original shop's dyno run. MDR tuned me for a whole lot less and installed a AEM UEGO. The combined price was still lower than $500. They also had better customer service.
