Mellon tuned e85 Evo IX 401whp/378wtq

Hi everyone, just wanted to post my results after Chris of Mellon Tuning got hold of my car! First things first, here are the mods:

Car: 2006 IX SE ~34,000 miles

AMS turbo back with test pipe
4"ETS FMIC
2.5" ETS LICP
3.0" ETS UICP (short route)
JM Fab O2 housing
Buschur air filter kit
Forge UNOS MBC
Precision 1000cc injectors
Walbro 255lph fuel pump

Everything else is bone stock. Chris did 2 tunes, one on 93 pump and one on e85. I was more than happy with the results, he did a great job dialing the car in and really bringing out the power! I would've just been happy with the car doing 375/375 on e85 but he was able to pull 401/378 out! On top of that, my fiance and I had trouble getting a rental car and Chris went out of his way to accomodate us by loaning us his DD! Can you say customer service??? Very, very good tuner and an even better dude, thanks again for a great experience man!

The 93 pump tune was done @ 27psi and the e85 tune was done @ 28 psi.

Car is a monster compared to what it was, and thanks for the kind words brother. Now all I need is a clutch, Exedy Twin Disc HD should do the job!

Hey Adam, thanks for the review and I'm so glad you guys made the trip from Kentucky (6 hour drive). I had a great time chatting with you and your fiance while I was doing the installs (mbc, injectors, zip ties and boost leak test). Be proud of the evo it's very strong for the mods/boost octane I hoped you didn't mind driving my beater 550awhp stealth

Not at all man, that car is a beast! The drive was totally worth it, and the trip back was a blast especially while there was e85 left in the car. Thanks again for a great tune and I look forward to working with you in the future!

I wish i had e85 close to me too. I just might have to get a 55 gallon drum of it

Then i'll have Chris do a retune for sure! He is a great guy to work with on the tuning process. Very pleased with his work!!!
