AMS tune 440whp/412tq- Fp Red & Meth.

Just had my car retuned with Meth yesterday at AMS. I am beyond satisfied with my results and the customer service at AMS. The place is extremely professional and the employees were very friendly. It was a 6 hr drive to get there, and i would gladly drive 12 hrs if need be. The driveability of the car is unbelievable compared to the last tune. It is honestly a night and day difference. My biggest regret prior to this tune was putting Kelford 272's in the car, but know the cams are not an issue. All bucking/stuttering problems are solved. Id like to thank Chris again, great guy and great work, i really appreciate the results you were able to achieve.

The car has-
Fpred (small cover)
Kelford 272's (supertech springs/retainers)
PPI intake & ported exhaust manifold
FIC 880cc
exedy twin
AMS fmic
AEM meth kit
Full bolt ons
stock block/ecu

My car previously made 380whp/320tq at a different shop. Chris was able to gain me an extra 60whp and 85tq.

Boost- 31-35psi

That's news to me too!

To the OP congrats on the new HP and driveability that makes all the difference in the world coming from a sub par tune

Whoops forgot to include that 31-35psi. I need a new boost controller and bov. The boost was falling off up top.

I don't have any Buschur parts but i would definitely use them on my car. I have the Stock metal 9 dv crushed. I am probably going to get a recirculating tail.

Was anything changed other than the tune to get the extra 60whp and 85tq?

Yea for sure, i added a meth kit. I was tuned on 93 pump prior. I am impressed by the power, and im sure i could have achieved the same power level elsewhere, but the driveability is what i really like.

Im not too huge on it either, and i was originally planning to go E-85. I hardly ever beat on the car, and that was my deciding factor to go with the meth. I just cant see myself going through the hassle of trying to find E-85 everywhere. For me to go through tanks of E-85 without even hitting boost seems like a waste to me, but i guess i could have just got a 93 and E-85 tune to switch between.
