Got the gasket in and the car all buttoned up......didnt get a chance to get it out of town and do some logs in 3rd and 4th....but the initial WOT 1st and 2nd gear reveals tirespin through redline once it hits peak tq....

Aren't the 1450's a little under sized for the power level on E? What are your IDC's looking like.

Looks like a beast.

Mikey was running 1450's when he got 680-something with a little room to spare.

ya i was about to say thats not normal. my 2.3 was even holding past 7k lol. more power to be had for sure. i did about what u did at 36psi with 39psi with a ****ty fmic and 97degree heat. I think youll crack over 630 when you revisit.

theres ALOT of headroom left with the 1450's at this power level. I've got to get the logs from the tuner, but I wanna say we were in the 70's

tcomp - I feel you on the heat....I believe it was 95 out on sunday in KC

the heat really owns the car on the dyno, thats why the open intake without the filter helped lots also prob. timing gets pulled where it doesnt on the street. your cars prob making more power then what the dyno says on the street.

all i care about is trap speeds

I dunno what the car is at right now, I had to dial it back to 30psi today because by fixing the exhaust leak, it leaned the car out to almost 12.8AFR up top.....we're just going to collaberate back & fourth via email and get the tune fixed, shouldnt take too much effort.

ya i could fix that in 1 pull.. should be a easy fix. you're going to gain spool also and the cars going to feel way more responsive.

I felt significant response this morning, lol

After I fixed teh gasket last night, I got on it in 2nd gear just to see if it made any difference and the car made roughly 42psi....it hit HARDDDD

For reference, I didnt touch the boost controller, and it was making 36ish on the dyno....

Nick I have an unported housing too. I think it def had something to do with the gasket. I also think you need to port the head, larger cams, and port the turbo to help. Also op, what 02 housing do you have. I would invest in an 02 dump to help reduce some of that turbine backpressure.

Great results so far! You need to get a retune/dyno to see where you are really at. I think on 42psi you should be in the 640-650hp range. However the tq prob started to shoot up over 38psi. In 3rd you may even spike as high as 44psi so I would turn the boost controller down a bit.

You probably want to turn that down for safety until the tune can be relooked at for the boost level .
