The transition to boost is often the most difficult to dial in. You either back out timing to reduce knock or richen up to reduce knock. I would typically ramp out timing hard from cruise to 0psi running AFR's in the 13:1 range. To know what is best you may want to run lower timing when tipping into boost and then lean out AFR to see how it affects spool, hp, and torque.

I agree, but I am not going to deny my seat of the pants to chase down a chart gremlin. The car pulls hard! The ported head, intake and ex manifolds have all done their part to lengthen my spool as opposed to my stock motor setup, but the top end improvemnets are substantial.
