What kind of torque could you have made?

 

over 500 pretty easily with e85.

 

Please, do enlighten me what you are getting at

 

And I hate when people post mustang graphs with a filter (smoothing) value of more then 6, but you don't see me complaining about it


Thanks for the comments.. The baseline numbers on the graph were good for 10.5's give or take a pound or two of boost.. Seeing the gains we picked up on the upper rev range it will be interesting to see what it is capable of.. Like I said before 64 lb/min

This is one of our sponsored cars, as well as a freind of mine, hopefully this power will be put to work to get the 10.5 down to something closer to the single digit range

what kind of numbers would you have expected if this was run on 93 pump only? and what boost would you be running on 93?

 

Well you know how the robot is known for the catch phrases "Danger, danger Will Robinson." and "Does not compute." ? That's what I meant.

1. Your running 33 psi on a stock block. This seems way high for a stock block.
2. Does your Mustang dyno read like a Dynojet? Cause those numbers seem way too high for a Mustang.
2.5 If it doesn't read high and that really is 540/420 then man are you trying to kill that motor. Way too agressive for a stock block
3. E85 is E85 cause it's 85% alcohol (that where the 85 comes from) so how you you have E85 that is 77% alcohol?

These things make me cautious about the quality of data your posting. (Ergo the Robot comment)

 

1. He must feel safe running the car at 33psi to be running it.
2. Does running 10.5s with slightly less power mean anything? 508hp vs 540hp. Yes, on the same dyno
2.5. Read #1. Also, have you looked at the "fastest stock turbo" list lately? There are alot of ppl making huge power on the stock block.
3. You must know nothing of E-85.

What's there to be skeptical about? Timeslip tells it all.

I was not aware of the danger will robinson robot unfortunately, good one..

I will be as friendly as possible and answer your questions as it looks like you may not know as much about data plots and how to spot graphs that read artificially high..

3. I test ethanol content in the lab where I work, I am guessing you don't know how E85 mixtures with gasoline change during the course of the year..

If anyone else has concerns of of these numbers please feel free to ask. I am VERY familliar with many different types of mustang dynos as well as the various software versions and I know how to actually spot artificially high numbers on a graph, and this is not one of them. Lets just leave it at that and carry on like grown ups..Anyone that knows anything about how dynos work will also be able to see this. I welcome any vendor in here to debate the graph in regards to the numbers being spat out by this dyno, I am NOT one of those people..

 

Chu would know how this dyno reads, he made 187 hp here on the stock tune with bolt-on's!!!!!
